Problem Information

The product's location has been moved, but the system still replenishes the product to the original location. SKU 000000000020004209 original location A17-01-044 new location A17-01-133 and in the SKU the original location N flag is active. but did not delete the data, causing replenishes to enter the original location. Please help to check.

Steps to investigation on replenishment in test environment.

1) in SKU setup for SKU 000000000020004209 check on the pickcase location for replenishment.

2) Go to replenishment and right click on generate replenishment to ensure there is a replenishment task for this SKU in that pickcase location. If none, then move the qty out of that location and generate replenishment again. It should have replenishment for the pickcase location.

3) Copy the SKU 000000000020004209 and assigned a new pickcase location for replenishment. Mark the SKU with old location - Active Flag = 'N'.

4) Go to replenishment and right click on generate replenishment. System will suggest the new pickcase location for replenishment and not the old location where Active Flag is marked as 'N'.

5) Try several scenario as make the old pickcase location found first before the new pickcase (SEARCH should reach the old location before new) and vice versa.

6) System still prompt the correct pickcase location.

Therefore it is likely in this situation, user forgot to mark the SKU with the old pickcase location to Active Flag = 'N' and generate replenishment. Therefore the old location was suggested before the new location because SEARCH will get the old location before the new location. That is why it is first suggested for replenishment.

User has cancelled the replenishment task to the old location. Delete the SKU with old pickcase location and generate replenishment again. The replenishment task is correctly generated.
