Would like to ask again, if we untick the lose ID flag in a 1st level location (which serves as case pick area), the expected trace ID on this location is not a (*) right?
Would this affect any logic or system behavior in the allocation, picking or any process ?

Explanation:
If the ID is unticked in pick location, then the traceId will be maintained after replenishment to this location which mean the ID will not show as *.
But you will have the following scenario:
- If there is partial traceID replenishment, system would not allow 2 locations having the same traceIDs.
We normally do not recommend maintaining the traceId in pick locations as it have mixed inventory and would be troublesome for pickers to search for the traceId to pick.
- If there is a full traceID replenishment, physically the traceID label is usually not available anymore since it is no longer a full pallet in the location.
These are only some scenario that will occur, there maybe more to this.
