Get Counting Task [Location Validation Code]
- I tried to copy the FMLocation and paste it to ScanLocation [without scanning the actual location barcode/Validation Code].
- It prompted the “Invalid Location” then we tried to proceed to scanning of SKU barcode, and it will proceed after ignoring the prompted error.

Referring to this ticket, we need to break it down to 2 issues:
One Location Validation Code and another as SKU validation.
1. Location Validation Code – fixed in SANDBOX environment. System will now validate that the user scanned a validation code at 3 points:
a. Scan Location field after press ENTER or tab out of the field
b.
If user ignore and continue to input
the SKU code, system will validate again when press ENTER or tab out of the SKU
field.
c. If user also ignore this and continue to press on CONFIRM button, system will validate again.
2. Validate that user scan instead of copy paste the SKU code – unlike picking, cycle count allows user to scan either the SKU code or SKU UOM barcode. There is no logic to validate that the correct SKU UOM Barcode is scanned. To disable copy paste function on the RF requires a CR. I believe there was a similar request in previous tickets for RF Wave Picking in which we have informed that the RF needs to be upgraded to include this capability.
