Details :

We found an issue when Putaway to Location BULK-001, system will generate inventory hold automatically.

We tested it in TEST Environment, didn't find this problem.

Could you please check.

Answer:

For now, you will have setting in the EXP_CTL. If you set this system config to ‘N’ – it will not checked for the inbound shelflife and will allow it to be received.

If you set it to ‘Y’, it will checked on the inbound shelflife and if it does not meet, it will prevent you from receiving it with the message below:

Apparently the auto hold comes from the error from timer. We have fix it to only check on outbound shelf life.

Investigation:

Issue with the Timer - EXP_HOD and the system config flag - EXP_CTL.

Need to update the timer and change the logic for EXP_CTL.

In this case, we suspect is has to do with SPECIAL CONTROL type of location and receive over shelflife condition. User will try to re-produce this in TEST environment.
