WMS system UI is not same

Detailed description of issue:

1. User mention cannot login. But certain users can login but have a different UI.

2. IT restart services and users can login. But the UI is still different. 


Action Taken:

1. Restart service and server.

Investigation:

Please check on the connection to .34 which is your DB server.

All we did were restarting servers and the WMS is back. We are not sure what causes the connection to .34 to be limited but I think this is not the first time. Before restarting the servers, the login frozen almost 20min. And when it is back it does not have the GDex logo as you have reported.


If you encounter this issue again, please do the following:


  1. Stop all 3 servers – WMS Frontend, Backend and DB server.
  2. Startup the DB server first. (Restarting DB server will reset firewall and all connections)
  3. Then WMS backend server and lastly WMS frontend server.

You may encounter the order not being push in from Datahub. If that happens, do the following:


  1. Check file folder and if got file stuck check message timer
  2. Check if message timer is running from the last run time.

3. If it is not running go to server .31restart datahubsrv-1
