INVESTIGATION:
  • Created sample transactions in both Davao and Tunasan TEST WHs. The PO in Davao WH closed upon ASN closure, but not in Tunasan.
  • Checked the System Config module and saw no difference in the configuration for the 2 WHs.
  • Upon consultation with PSO, they recommended to check if the customer ID is linked.
  • When comparing a Davao WH Goods Owner vs. a Tunasan WH Goods Owner, we found that the Control section didn't have the linkage needed.

ROOT CAUSE:
  • The Control section for the Goods Owner lacked the necessary mapping to link PO and ASN.

SOLUTION:
  • For the affected ASN, please close the corresponding PO manually in the PO module.
  • Perform the necessary updates in UAT first, before applying any changes in Production:
    • Go to the Control section for Customer Type: Goods Owner, and ensure the following fields are enabled:
      • Update the PO Released Quantity When ASN Closed
      • ASN LNK PO
    • Run a sample transaction in the Tunasan TEST WH.
    • Once testing is completed and results are as expected, proceed with the updates in the Tunasan PROD WH.
